Senior Civil Designer

Senior Civil Designer | Contract Opportunity

We are working with a well-established engineering consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Designer to support a range of major resource and industrial projects.

This role is initially offered on a contract basis, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

About the Role

Working as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering civil design packages across large-scale industrial and resource sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Civil design and drafting for bulk earthworks, site development and drainage infrastructure
• Preparation of design documentation and construction drawings
• Coordination with engineers, designers and project teams
• Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design
• Ensuring designs meet project specifications and industry standards

About You / Requirements

• Proven experience as a Civil Designer on mining, heavy industrial, energy or similar infrastructure projects
• Strong experience in bulk earthworks and drainage design
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, or strong 12d experience with the ability to transition into Civil 3D
• Experience producing detailed design and construction documentation
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to work within a collaborative project environment
