About the Role

Are you an experienced engineer who is looking to take the next step in your career? We are excited to be able to offer the role of Senior Asset Integrity Consultant at Wagerup Refinery.

Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will be an integral team member responsible for leading a team of reliability engineers.

As the Senior Asset Integrity Consultant, you will be responsible for managing Asset Risk, Statutory Compliance and inspection programs, Providing subject matter expertise in aspects of Asset Integrity - Pressure vessels, Tanks, Piping, Rail. You will support departments in prioritising and addressing long term asset integrity issues.

The role involves liasing between department and location leadership – as well as working closely with regional centres of excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Asset Integrity management, including risk assessment, statutory compliance and inspection programs.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in asset integrity (pressure vessels, tanks, piping, rail).
  • Liaise between department and location leadership and collaborate with regional centres of excellence.
  • Support departments in prioritising and addressing long-term asset integrity issues.

About You / Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Masters’ degree and membership with a recognised professional engineering body desirable
  • Considerable experience in a senior leadership capacity preferably in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team to achieve operational excellence
  • Demonstrated experience with risk management processes including HAZOP and LOPA
  • Well-developed communication, influencing & interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of safety, maintenance, and operations management systems
  • Good working knowledge and capability in MS Office tools, CMMS (ideally EAM), Project Management skills and Continuous Improvement

Qualifications & Certifications

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering; Masters’ degree (desirable); Membership with a recognised professional engineering body (desirable)
