Our Opportunity
Work Location: Cloudbreak on the traditional lands of the Palyku and Nyiyaparli peoples
Roster: 8D/6R – FIFO ex Perth, Busselton, Broome, Karratha, Port Hedland, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra
Cloudbreak is seeking a Scraper Technician to maintain and improve conveyor systems, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient fixed plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a strong safety culture aligned with Fortescue standards
- Daily inspections of belt & pulley scrapers, recording work in PDS/SAP
- Perform scheduled & breakdown maintenance of scraper systems
- Ensure healthy spares & drive continuous improvements with OEMs
- Assisting Belt and Roller Technicians in conveyor maintenance and replacements
- Lead shutdown scraper activities and supporting contractor labour
Qualifications and Experience
- Belt scraper and conveyor maintenance experience essential
- Experience in fixed plant or continuous processing environments
- Knowledge of SAP, PDS or similar maintenance systems
- Strong understanding of conveyor maintenance strategies
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and zero harm
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem solving and fault-finding capability
- Good communication and computer skills
