We are currently seeking an experienced Scheduler for ongoing work at Curtis Island, Gladstone. Working with our client, you’ll live locally and be working a 9 day fortnight, based on Site at Curtis Island.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update detailed Primavera P6 schedules for gas plant construction and maintenance projects.
• Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), activity coding, logic networks and baseline schedules. Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, constraints and recovery opportunities. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operations teams to ensure schedule alignment.
• Monitor project progress, analyse schedule performance and produce weekly and monthly reports.
• Support turnaround and shutdown planning activities, including resource allocation and work sequencing.
• Generate look-ahead schedules, earned value analysis, S-curves and progress dashboards for management reporting.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings with stakeholders, contractors and project management teams.
• Ensure compliance with project controls procedures and planning standards within operating gas plant environments.

What you will bring

• Trade or Bachelor Engineering background preferred
• Minimum 5 years Planning / Scheduling experience
• Experience working in the oil and gas sector (preferred)
• Extensive P6 experience essential
• SAP experience highly desirable
• Confidence in decision making & the ability to change directions as per customer requirements
• Live locally to Gladstone
• A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Proof of right to work in Australia.
