Responsibilities

Role OverviewAn opportunity exists for a Safety and Training Administrator to join the team at Appin Mine on a maternity leave contract up to 12 months. This role is responsible for supporting site safety and training functions through the administration of compliance systems, training records, and workforce competency requirements.Working closely with operational leaders and the site Safety and Training team, you will play a key role in ensuring employees remain compliant and site records are maintained to a high standard.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain training matrices, competency records, and compliance databasesCoordinate training bookings, inductions, VOCs, and refresher trainingMonitor employee compliance and notify departments of upcoming training requirementsAssist with onboarding and mobilisation processesMaintain accurate site personnel and contractor recordsSupport safety audits, inspections, and reporting requirementsPrepare reports and compliance documentation for site leadershipAssist with incident reporting and corrective action trackingEnsure documentation is maintained in line with company and legislative requirementsProvide administrative support to the Safety and Training team

Qualifications
