The Role

We are seeking experienced Safety Advisors for current and upcoming shutdown, maintenance, and project work across Australia’s largest mine sites. In this casual FIFO role, you’ll access consistent work across 90+ client sites, competitive rates, and genuine career development opportunities. As Safety Advisor you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating and providing mentoring opportunities of the Safe Work Commitments throughout the organisation
• Undertaking Incident investigations
• Monitoring and achieving KPI’s in compliance with the HSEQ Management System (inclusive of client requirements)
• Supporting and continuously improving risk management strategies throughout the organisation
• Mentoring and educating the workforce on HSE matters
• Supporting site leadership team

What You’ll Need

• Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety or other relevant WHS qualification
• Australian Drivers Licence
• Construction White Card & valid Australian work rights
• Previous experience on Major Projects on site within the resourcing sector is highly desirable
• Experience in mine site shutdowns in a Safety Advisor role (desirable)
• A sound understanding of risk management
• Competent in Microsoft programs and other computer-based systems i.e. SharePoint
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug/alcohol screening
