We are looking for an experienced Safety Advisor to join the Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Training (HSSET) Department at the Kalgoorlie-based KCGM Operations on a Permanent, Full time basis.
This residential position is on a 8:6, working 10-hour days, providing a great work-home life balance - be home every night!
About the Role
The successful candidate will undertake the maintenance, development and enforcement of Occupational Health and Safety standards across site and departments, to ensure ongoing Legislative and Company compliances.

About You / Requirements
Essential
- Minimum three (3) years' experience in a similar role, within the resources sector.
- Developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience in facilitation of risk management processes.
- Experience with facilitation of incident-investigation processes (ICAM).
- Strong level of administration and computer skills.
- Must hold a minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety.
- Must reside within the Goldfields region, or willing to relocate and a current Unencumbered Western Australian "C" Class Manual Drivers Licence.
Preferred
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in a similar role, ideally within the resources sector.
- Experience with incident-investigation modelling.
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Certificate IV Training and Assessing, Qualifications in Investigation methodology i.e. Essential Factors, ICAM, Understanding of applicable Australian Standards & Mines Safety legislation and Audit certification.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (required)
- Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (preferred)
- Certificate IV Training and Assessing (preferred)
- Qualifications in Investigation methodology (e.g. Essential Factors, ICAM) (preferred)
- Understanding of Australian Standards & Mines Safety legislation and Audit certification (preferred)
