About the Company
Breight Group is currently seeking experienced Rope Access Boilermakers (IRATA Level 1, 2 or 3) for ongoing FIFO shutdown opportunities across multiple sites in the Pilbara region.
As part of one of the largest Rope Access teams in the WA mining industry, you’ll contribute to critical maintenance and shutdown works while working alongside highly skilled technicians and supervisors.

About the Role
We are seeking experienced Rope Access Boilermakers to perform rope access maintenance and shutdown tasks within the WA mining industry, on FIFO shutdown projects across Pilbara sites. The role involves working with a rope access team and collaborating with technicians and supervisors to ensure safe, quality outcomes. The rope access division is supported by IRATA guidance and leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Perform rope access tasks for maintenance and shutdown works as part of a larger team.
- Work alongside highly skilled technicians and supervisors.
- Adhere to safety-first culture and company safety policies.
- Participate in project-specific safety and job planning meetings.
- Support inspection and maintenance activities as required by shutdown scope.
About You
We are looking for motivated professionals who enjoy their work, thrive in a team environment, and have a strong commitment to safety. To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current IRATA Certification (Level 1, 2 or 3)
- Boilermaker Trade Certificate (must be Australian recognised)
- Inducted to Rio Tinto beneficial
- Current Working at Heights (within 2 years)
- Current Confined Space (within 2 years)
- Construction White Card
- Australian Work Rights
- Perth Point of Hire
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and ongoing drug & alcohol testing
