Breight Group is looking for experienced Resource Planner's to join our fast-paced Workforce Planning team, coordinating workforce requirements across our growing portfolio of maintenance, shutdown and project work.
You’ll be at the centre of operations — matching skills, availability, rosters and project requirements to make sure we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
Working closely with Operations, Recruitment and Mobilisation, you’ll manage changing priorities, solve workforce gaps and help keep our projects and contracts moving.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Coordinate workforce planning across multiple maintenance, shutdown and project work fronts.
- Work closely with operational teams to understand upcoming workforce requirements and priorities.
- Allocate employees based on skills, availability, compliance and client requirements.
- Coordinate rosters, workforce movements and changes across concurrent works.
- Identify upcoming workforce gaps and work with Recruitment and Mobilisation to find solutions.
- Maintain accurate workforce plans and provide visibility of upcoming demand and resource availability.
- Communicate work allocations, roster changes and upcoming requirements with employees and stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with our workforce and operational teams.
- Monitor workforce utilisation and identify opportunities to improve resource allocation.
About You You’re someone who enjoys making things fit. You can look at a busy workforce plan, understand the priorities and work through the moving pieces to find a solution. You’ll ideally bring:
- Experience in workforce planning, scheduling, mobilisation or resource coordination, ideally within mining, maintenance, shutdowns, construction or a similar environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- An understanding of rosters, mobilisation, workforce compliance and site requirements.
- Confidence communicating with employees and operational stakeholders.
- The ability to think ahead and identify workforce issues before they become operational problems.
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
- Confidence using workforce systems, Microsoft Office and data.
- A proactive, practical and solutions-focused approach.
