Refrigeration Technician

Gold Fields - Agnew are currently seeking a Refrigeration Technician to join their Maintenance Department.

Reporting to the Supervisor: Maintenance you will be responsible for providing quality and timely preventative maintenance and repairs to infrastructure, including cool rooms, coolers, air conditioners, split systems, heat pumps across office buildings, village accommodation and facilities and associated surface infrastructure as required.

This role is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off Fly in Fly out roster from Perth, however there is the option to be residential in Leinster if preferred.

Key responsibilities will include.

• Always act in a manner that seeks to Enhance the Safety Culture and Performance of GFA and ensures that the Vital Behaviors are adhered to always
• Flexibility in working with different disciplines within a team environment.
• Ability to work autonomously when required.
• Ensuring all maintenance work is undertaken with a focus on continuous improvement
• Knowledge of working within maintenance programs (SAP).
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping.
• Ability to be on rotational call roster.
• Management of refrigerant registers and compliance to licencing requirements.
• Maintaining cool rooms, bulk air conditioners, split systems, Heat pumps, and heating systems across site.

Key factors to your success include;

• Experience as a Refrigeration Technician within a mine site and camp infrastructure.
• Hold WA “R” Class restricted Electrical Licence.
• Refrigeration Trade Qualification Cert 3.
• ARCtick refrigerant handling licence.
• Forklift high risk licence (LF class)
• Working at Heights Qualification.
• Current Driver’s License as a minimum.
• Current First Aid certificate.
