Rebuilds Service Advisor

Are you ready to take your technical knowledge to the next level? Our Rebuilds Service Advisors are the first point of contact to scope and win Rebuild and Repair work for WesTrac. We are looking for a Mechanical Rebuild Adviser to join our knowledgeable and welcoming team. 

Reporting to the Rebuilds Service Advisory Supervisor, the Rebuilds Service Advisors are accountable to work with customers, both internal and external, to scope and price work for the Rebuilds workshop based in Welshpool. This includes developing quotations/estimates for a wide range of Cat Mining equipment, reviewing part listings to enable safe and efficient rebuild or repair of equipment. We work with our Sales Teams to advise customers on rebuild options, to understand and meet customer expectations. We also work closely with our Execution teams on variations to scope, refining future quotes and providing support when required. Occasional site travel is required as a part of this role’s duties.

**Roster:**Monday - Friday 10.5hrs (Permanent Full-Time)

Key responsibilities:

• Scope and price rebuild work for the Welshpool Rebuilds workshop in collaboration with internal and external customers.
• Prepare accurate quotes and estimates for Cat Mining equipment and review parts listings to support safe, efficient rebuilds.
• Advise Sales Teams and customers on rebuild options to align with expectations.
• Work with Execution teams to manage scope changes, refine future quotes, and provide support as needed.
• Undertake occasional site travel for assessments and customer engagement.

To be successful the following is required:

• Trade Qualification relevant to role requirements (Cert 3 Heavy Mechanical)
• Leadership or mentor experience
• Experience with Caterpillar products
• Experience or interest in working with Customers
• Experience with Pricing and planning systems tools (SIS, Excel, PSQ)
• Time management and the ability to prioritise
• Sound conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• A team building skill set and the ability to network between teams effectively is essential.
