Purchasing Officer - Procurement and Supply QLD

About the Role

We are now looking for a Purchasing Officer – Procurement & Supply QLD to join our highly skilled, procurement team. Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, QLD, you will be responsible for conducting procurement activities across our QLD business.

This is a full-time, permanent role, and is based in Maryborough, QLD

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring purchasing is initiated on time & in line with project milestones & stakeholder requirements
• Liaison/stakeholder engagement with associated teams and management
• Ensuring governance of supply systems, ensuring purchasing is executed through approved suppliers, and supplier system attributes are proactively maintained
• Reviewing and evaluating technical work

About You / Requirements

• 2 to 5 years relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or buying, preferably within major construction projects
• Qualifications in procurement, supply chain, logistics or admin highly desirable
• Commercially astute, with the ability to influence and negotiate
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to work
