Our leading global mining client is proud to be a leading Australian producer of premium quality hard coking coal for export steel markets within Central Queensland's Bowen Basin, with additional joint ventures in steel making coal, copper and manganese across Northwest Queensland and Western Australia. With steelmaking coal being an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading growing client with a focus on sustainability, innovation and progression within the workforce and supporting local communities.

What you will be Doing

You will be working as a Multi-Skilled Operators within the Production Department on a coal mine near Moura. You will be operating KOM 830E Dump Trucks being loaded by an Excavator, CAT D10 OR D11 Dozers, CAT 16H & 18M Graders, CAT Loaders up to 992 and/or Hitachi 5600 Excavators. You will be working 12.5-hour shifts on a 7/7 Wednesday to Tuesday or Thursday to Wednesday rotating day and night roster. These roles are available to local (Moura) & DIDO candidates.

What you will need

• Previous mining experience working as a Multi-Skilled Operator within a coal mining environment operating a minimum of 3 machines above
• You will need to have obtained a Standard 11 & Coal Board Medical within last 2 years or be willing to attain this.
• Current Drivers Licence & right to work in Australia
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol screen
