Project Scheduler – Offshore Support Team

Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT), QLD

6-Month Contract | Monday–Friday | 40–50 Hours Per Week

Onsite with Flexible Work-from-Home Options

We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to join the team at Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal. Working within a complex operational environment, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and managing project, shutdown, maintenance, and operational schedules to support safe and efficient project delivery.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ planning and scheduling experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience within mining, ports, bulk handling, or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated experience with shutdown and brownfield project scheduling.
• Experience integrating maintenance, operations, and project delivery schedules.
• Proven ability to work within live operational facilities.

Technical Skills

• Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Resource loading and levelling.
• Schedule forecasting and progress reporting.
• Constraint management.
• Risk-based planning.
• Baseline control.
• Cost and schedule reporting.

Operational Experience

• Brownfield project execution.
• Permit-to-work systems.
• Outage management.
• SIMOPS planning.
• Shipping and berth interface management.
• Offshore access constraints.

Systems Experience
Microsoft Project (Advanced)

• Schedule development and maintenance.
• Critical path analysis.
• Resource loading.
• Baseline management.
• Progress measurement.
• Forecasting and reporting.

Microsoft Excel (Advanced)

• Advanced formulas and functions.
• Pivot Tables.
• Power Query.
• Dashboard development.
• Resource and performance reporting.

Additional Systems

• SAP PM (Advanced).
• Microsoft Teams (Advanced).

Highly Regarded

• Offshore or marine infrastructure experience.
• Capital project controls experience.
• Asset management or maintenance planning.
• Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
• Portfolio scheduling experience.
