Due to continued growth within our Service Delivery division, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team based in Bunbury.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering a diverse portfolio of shutdowns, fixed plant maintenance, brownfields projects, upgrades and installations across multiple client sites throughout the South West of Western Australia.

About the Role

Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of multiple site-based projects from planning and tendering through to execution and close-out.

You will be responsible for the safety, commercial performance, quality and timely delivery of projects while leading a high-performing team of Superintendents, Supervisors and Trades personnel.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys building strong client relationships, leading large operational teams and delivering complex maintenance and capital projects within active industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of shutdowns, maintenance contracts, fixed plant upgrades and installation projects.
  • Manage project planning, scheduling, mobilisation and execution to achieve safety, quality, budget and schedule objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor Superintendents, Supervisors and multidisciplinary trade teams.
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, cost control and commercial performance.
  • Review and approve project plans, Gantt charts, resource plans and mobilisation documentation.
  • Manage contract variations, pricing strategies and procurement activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and operational performance.
  • Promote RCR's Safe Day Every Day culture through visible leadership and critical risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with quality systems, client specifications and contractual requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role you will ideally possess:

  • Degree or Diploma in Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing projects within mining, industrial maintenance or fixed plant environments.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering shutdowns, brownfield projects or maintenance contracts.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasts and project profitability.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large operational teams across multiple projects.
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong planning, scheduling and organisational abilities.
  • Sound understanding of safety management systems and risk management.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Construction White Card.
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space and Fire Awareness training.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) and Section 26 qualification will be highly regarded.
  • Experience using Microsoft Project will be advantageous.
