About Ramelius

Our growth pipeline includes a major processing plant upgrade at Mt Magnet and the greenfields Rebecca-Roe Project, including a new mine, processing plant, accommodation village, aerodrome and supporting infrastructure.

This is an opportunity to join a growing Major Projects team, work directly within the owner’s organisation and contribute to projects of genuine scale and complexity.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will provide technical oversight of electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems across the project lifecycle.

Working across engineering, construction, commissioning, operations and operational readiness, you will act as a key technical interface between internal teams, engineering contractors, equipment vendors and operational stakeholders.

You will play an important role in ensuring E&I systems are safe, fit for purpose and successfully delivered from design through to commissioning and handover.

Role responsibilities

  • Develop scopes of work and support E&I design development
  • Review designs, drawings, specifications and technical documentation
  • Provide oversight across HV and LV distribution, substations, switchboards, MCCs, motors and drives
  • Support instrumentation, field devices, PLC, control system and OT interfaces
  • Coordinate vendor package integration and resolve technical interface issues
  • Support E&I installation activities, contractor coordination and construction queries
  • Participate in inspections, testing, FAT, SAT and commissioning activities

What will help you succeed

  • Strong E&I experience within mining, resources or heavy industry
  • Sound knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation and process control
  • Experience with PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI or operational technology environments
  • Experience across design, construction and commissioning phases
  • Strong technical problem-solving and decision-making capability
  • The ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • A strong commitment to safe, practical and fit-for-purpose project delivery
