Project Engineer

Pearl Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a leading WA concrete and formwork contractor delivering major commercial projects across Perth.

This is an opportunity for a site-based Project Engineer with strong concrete frame and formwork experience to take ownership of major packages across high-profile commercial developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate concrete frame packages across major commercial projects
• Review and interrogate designs, identify issues and raise RFIs where required
• Develop and implement formwork and construction methodologies
• Provide technical support, mark-ups and guidance to site supervisors and trades
• Support project planning, procurement, quality assurance and delivery
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams throughout project execution

Experience Required:

• Proven site-based Project Engineering experience within a concrete and formwork environment
• Strong understanding of concrete frame construction, including basement slabs, raft slabs, pile caps and PT slabs
• High-rise commercial building experience
• Experience with formwork systems including Doka Tables, Skydeck, Hoists, Hydraulic Screens, Jumpform and Slipform
• Ability to interpret drawings and manage design issues through RFIs
• Surveying background highly regarded but not essential
• Current Driver's Licence
• Full Australian Working Rights
