About the Role

RCR is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Product Delivery Lead to join our Bunbury team. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional with strong leadership capabilities to play a key role in driving team performance, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

About the Role

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Product Delivery Lead is responsible for providing day-to-day leadership and direction to the Product Delivery team, ensuring customer enquiries, quotations, sales orders and delivery commitments are managed efficiently and to a consistently high standard.

This hands-on leadership position combines team coordination, customer relationship management and commercial oversight. You will act as the first point of escalation for the Product Delivery team, support continuous improvement initiatives, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure outstanding customer outcomes.

You will maintain your own portfolio of customers while supporting the broader team to achieve operational, commercial and customer service objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Product Delivery team, ensuring customer commitments are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.
  • Manage team priorities and workloads to align with business objectives and customer requirements.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for customer, sales and operational issues, providing guidance and support to the team.
  • Maintain an active customer portfolio, develop strong customer relationships and identify sales opportunities.
  • Review quotations, sales orders and commercial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company requirements.
  • Monitor DIFOT and other key performance metrics, driving initiatives that improve customer service and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Inventory, Manufacturing, Warehouse and Service Delivery teams to ensure timely product and service delivery.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and workflows, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 and Power BI platforms.
  • Monitor team performance against agreed KPIs and provide coaching, mentoring and support to develop capability across the team.
  • Provide operational support and leadership coverage for the Sales Manager when required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales, product support or account management within the mining, industrial, manufacturing, resources or automotive sectors.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience coordinating teams and managing competing priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed customer service, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to understand customer needs and provide effective product and service solutions.
  • Sound commercial awareness and the ability to review quotations, pricing and customer agreements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines, forecasting and reporting.
  • The ability to make sound operational decisions and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and ERP/CRM systems.
  • Understanding of supply chain, inventory and procurement processes. (Desirable)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. (Desirable)
  • Qualifications in a trade, business, sales, customer service, leadership or related discipline. (Desirable)
