About the Role

This role is based in Civmec's corporate offices in Henderson and is responsible for the leadership and management of all procurement and subcontract functions, including but not limited to:

  • Lead procurement and subcontract activities from tender through to execution and close out, ensuring Civmec’s commercial and contractual interests are protected.
  • Prepare and manage RFT / RFQ documentation, evaluation of submissions, commercial recommendations and risk assessments.
  • Drive commercial negotiations and coordinate technical and legal input to achieve the best cost, risk and value outcome for the business.
  • Administer subcontracts post award including progress claims, variations, performance management, disputes and close out.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify, manage and communicate commercial risks and maintain accurate procurement and contract records.

About You

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commerce or Law is desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum of three years in procurement with a strong focus on managing procurement activities from tender through to execution and close out.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally with subcontractors and internal stakeholders both written and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
