An established mining operation in North West Queensland is seeking an experienced Process Operator Maintainer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent position within a small, close-knit operation, offering plenty of variety across both plant operations and maintenance.

• 8/6 roster

About the Role

Working within a small processing operation, you will be responsible for both operating and maintaining fixed plant equipment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable getting involved across different areas of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring crushing and processing equipment
• Completing daily pre-start inspections
• Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting
• Assisting with fixed plant breakdowns and repairs
• Supporting safe and efficient plant performance
• Assisting with general site activities and housekeeping
• Working closely with production and maintenance teams

Requirements

• Trade qualification essential – Mechanical Fitter or Electrician preferred
• Previous experience within a processing plant, wash plant, crushing or mineral processing environment
• Strong fixed plant maintenance knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify plant issues
• Current manual driver's licence
• Strong commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently within a small operation
