About the Role

Liontown is ramping up production at Kathleen Valley and is hiring Process Operators to join our growing team in two permanent FIFO roles:

1. Process Operator – Crew (8/6 : 7/7 roster)
2. Process Operator – Day Services (8/6 dayshift roster)

Both roles offer the opportunity to build a long-term career within a modern, large-scale lithium processing operation.

Process Operator – Crew Role

As an Experienced Process Operator, you will be a key member of the Plant Production team, working on an 8/6 : 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth, with accommodation provided at our premium Dragonfly Village.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and optimisation of core plant circuits, ensuring production targets are met or exceeded while maintaining Liontown’s high safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Operator – Crew
  • Operate and monitor processing plant areas including: Crushing
  • Grinding
  • Flotation
  • Filtration
  • Control Room Operations (CRO)
  • Paste Plant
  • Maintain stable plant performance through active monitoring and adjustment of process parameters.
  • Participate in shutdowns, isolations, and permit-controlled activities.
  • Identify and report plant defects and improvement opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and technical teams.
  • Actively contribute to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.
  • As you develop your capability, opportunities exist to progress into advanced operator roles and potential rotational roster positions.

Process Operator – Day Services Role

The Day Services Process Operator is a day-shift FIFO role (8/6 roster from Perth), reporting to the Day Services Process Supervisor. This position provides critical operational and infrastructure support across the processing operation.

This role is well suited to operators who enjoy variety, site-wide exposure, and contributing to plant reliability and improvement initiatives.

• Process Operator – Day Services
  • Operate and manage Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) activities, including inspections and monitoring.
  • Operate and monitor the water treatment plant and associated water systems.
  • Support and management of the reagent area.
  • Complete plant improvement, reliability, and housekeeping projects.
  • Prepare and manage permits, isolations, and lock-out/tag-out activities.
  • Conduct routine inspections across the Process Plant, Paste Plant, and TSF.
  • Operate mobile and fixed plant equipment safely and efficiently.

About You / Requirements

• 1–2+ years processing plant experience (flotation and paste plant highly regarded).
• Safety-focused with strong communication skills.
• Permit & isolation knowledge.
• Mobile plant tickets desirable.
• Able to pass medical & police check.
