POOL – QCOAL (Sonoma) – Operators

About the role

Protech is looking for experienced Operators to join our workforce at Thiess – QCoal Northern Hub (Sonoma)

Sonoma Mine is part of the QCoal Northern Hub near Collinsville, a well-established mining region.

Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy mobile plant onsite at QCoal Northern Hub (Sonoma). You will work collaboratively with your crew and the wider site team towards delivering safe, high-quality results.

We have multiple vacancies for the following skillsets:

• Experienced Haul Truck Operators (Operating CAT 789+)
• Experienced Multi Skilled Operators (Truck, WC, Loader, Excavator, Grader, Dozer)
• Experienced Excavator Operators – (experience operating 9800, 9600, 996 large Excavators in a mining environment)

About you:

• Suitable candidates will have demonstrated experience operating in a mining environment. Experience in hard rock mining operation desirable.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience operating production mining equipment (Rear Dump Truck, Dozer, Grader, or Excavator)
• SSE signed training transcripts
• Proof of Australian working rights
• Current Drivers Licence
• Standard 11 Induction
• HA (Coal Board Medical)
