The Opportunity

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has opportunities for a Plumber to join the team located on Barrow Island, WA. You will play a key role in the replacement of the Digester & Treated Effluent Tanks at the Bridging Wastewater Treatment Plant. You'll support critical mechanical and piping activities associated with the removal of existing infrastructure and installation of new wastewater treatment assets. This is a casual ongoing position starting immediately, running until the end of 2026 with possibility or extension.

About You

Trade Certificate III – Plumber / Gasfitter
WA Drivers Licence
White Card / Construction Induction
Working at Heights (completed within last 2 years)
Hepatitis A & B Vaccinations
Experienced in the safe use of hand tools and equipment required to perform tasks
Have an ability to work effectively within a team with well-developed communication skills and a commitment to safety
