About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Payroll Manager to join our dynamic team in our office located in Rivervale, Perth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end weekly payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely pay runs.
• Review and validate timesheets, hours and payroll adjustments.
• Interpret and apply relevant awards and EBAs.
• Process leave, deductions, salary sacrifice, back pay, incentives and other adjustments.
• Manage payroll-related statutory obligations including superannuation, PAYG, payroll tax and PLSL.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee pay queries.
• Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
• Manage workers' compensation payments and reimbursements.
• Identify and implement improvements to payroll systems, processes and controls.
• Lead and develop the Payroll Officer and support the wider Finance team as required.

About You / Requirements

• Significant experience in a Payroll Manager or senior payroll role, preferably within mining or mining services.
• Strong experience managing high-volume payroll across multiple awards, EBAs and classifications.
• Experience leading and developing people.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and time management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to process improvement and problem-solving.
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and growing business.
• Experience with AI, automation and payroll technology.
• MYOB Acumatica experience is desirable.
• A Finance, Economics or related degree is desirable.

• Desirable: Finance, Economics or related degree.
