Join Our Team as a Paste Crew Member – Drive Underground Mining Success!

What You’ll Do:

• Install steel and plastic paste delivery pipes safely and accurately within underground environments.
• Weld and cut steel pipes to meet design specifications, ensuring robust and reliable infrastructure.
• Monitor paste flow at underground delivery points to maintain optimal operations.
• Operate IT loaders with a crew working in baskets, supporting paste movement and infrastructure setup.
• Build and extend paste walls, ensuring structural integrity.
• Extend ventilation, water, air, and pump services to necessary areas, optimizing underground working conditions.
• Move and install pumps, repair services such as vent bags, poly pipes, and valves.
• Assist with installing cable bolts, underground infrastructure, ventilation walls, and remote-operated equipment infrastructure.
• Collaborate with different underground departments to ensure seamless operations.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in a Paste or Service Crew role within underground mining environments.
• Strong knowledge of underground mining processes and safety standards.
• Ability to operate various tools and equipment efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to safety and detail.

Nice to Have:

• Additional skills in equipment maintenance or underground construction.
• Experience with advanced underground installation technologies.

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Prior experience in underground mining operations is essential.
• Valid and current manual Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Valid National Police Clearance (issued within the last 6 months).
• Working at Heights ticket is essential.
• Relevant qualifications, certificates, and licenses applicable to underground mining environments.
• Right to work in Australia is mandatory.

• Ability to work flexible shifts and stay adaptable to changing project needs.
• Commitment to safety standards and environmental policies.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing training as required.
