OT Communications Specialist

We're seeking an experienced OT Communications Specialist to join a high-performing operational technology team supporting critical communications and technology infrastructure across a complex industrial environment.

Your new role

This is an immediate-start contract opportunity with an initial 6-month term, with strong potential for extension for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing

• Providing Level 1 and Level 2 support across OT communications and technology systems
• Maintaining and troubleshooting Wi-Fi, radio, fibre, CCTV and data network infrastructure
• Supporting security and access control technologies, including Gallagher systems
• Managing UPS infrastructure and ensuring system reliability
• Performing firmware and software updates to minimise cyber and operational risk
• Working with vendors and service providers to resolve incidents and technical issues
• Maintaining accurate documentation and technical records
• Supporting both underground and surface operations

What you'll need to succeed

• Experience supporting OT communications and technology environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across network and communications infrastructure
• Exposure to Wi-Fi, radio, fibre, CCTV and access control technologies
• Understanding of cyber security best practices within operational environments
• Experience within mining, resources, industrial or critical infrastructure environments highly regarded
• Underground mining experience will be highly advantageous
