Operator : Service Crew

This role is offered as FIFO from Perth or residential to Kambalda or Kalgoorlie on 8 days on 6 days off roster. Bus transportation is offered to and from site for residential candidates.

About the role:
Reporting to the Leading Hand at Invincible/Hamlet Underground mines, you will be responsible for:

• Assisting in the provision of preventative maintenance through scheduled inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and organising the timely repair of operating equipment.
• Actioning all allocated tasks in accordance with current site environmental policies including the requirements to control, contain, clean-up and communicate all environmental spills with particular attention to oil and hydraulic leaks.
• Assisting Trades personnel with rebuilds and repairs.
• Be organised and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks by the leading Hand.
• Carrying out operational tasks relating to ventilation, water, power and assisting colleagues to do the same.
• Seeking advice and support from the Shift Leading Hand as required.
• Operation of tools and equipment including but not limited to Elevated Work Platforms, Integrated Tool Carriers.

About you:

• Experience in underground operations in a service or paste crew position would be preferable.
• Extensive record of safe underground mining practices.
• C Class Drivers Licence.
• MR Drivers Licence desirable
• Apply First Aid ticket and Basic Rigging/CN Crane ticket desirable.
