Operator : Mine Controller

The Opportunity:

You’ll make a meaningful impact by supporting safe and efficient underground operations, working closely with a diverse team to monitor, coordinate, and optimise mining activities in real time. Your expertise will contribute to operational excellence within our Underground Operations team at our Granny Smith Site in a mine control room environment.

What You’ll Do

• Monitor and coordinate underground mining operations in real time using fleet management and control systems
• Operate and maintain fleet management, safety, and SCADA systems
• Ensure accurate data capture, reporting, and compliance with safety standards
• Communicate and collaborate with underground crews and key stakeholders
• Identify and respond to operational issues with strong situational awareness
• Role model our core values and create a culture where every team member feels seen, supported, and valued

What You’ll Bring

• Valid WA “C” Class Driver’s Licence
• Proven experience in underground mining operations
• Experience using fleet management systems (e.g. Micromine Pitram)
• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards
• Capability to operate across systems including fleet management, safety systems (IMS, CCTV), and SCADA
• Strong situational awareness with the ability to make decisions under pressure
• High attention to detail, data accuracy, and analytical thinking skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A growth mindset, with strong accountability, resilience, and relationship-building capability
