ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a Permanent role on a 42 Day Shift/Night Shift Continuous roster. Our Worsley Refinery is a short drive from communities such as Collie (20 Minutes) & Bunbury (45 Minutes) which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, you will live and work in one of the most beautiful regions of Western Australia and still be home each night. 

Candidates should ideally live within an hour’s drive of Collie as there is no accommodation on site.

As the Operator Fixed Plant Raw Materials, you will be responsible for operating fixed plant and associated equipment safely and consistently, in line with operational plans, procedures and site standards.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

• Monitoring and controlling conveying, stacking & reclaiming, rail activities and plant performance
• Working closely with central control room, production and maintenance teams
• Reporting events, hazards and plant status accurately and in a timely manner
• Contributing to improved work practices, procedures and operational reliability

ABOUT YOU

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Operating fixed plant in production environments, including conveying systems
  Exposure to rail activities and train loading or unloading operations
• Materials handling activities such as stacking, reclaiming and product transfer
• Confidence working around fixed and mobile plant with sound mechanical awareness
• A motivated, reliable approach with care for safety, quality and teamwork
• Clear communication and a willingness to follow procedures and speak up when needed

Qualifications for this position are:

• High School diploma and relevant certificates that are required for respective work discipline in local jurisdiction
• Demonstrated oral and written English language proficiency
• Current machinery tickets: Front-End Loader, Skid Steer, and Bulldozer
