Work a Monday - Friday Roster, 10.5 hour shifts

About our Client

Whitehaven Coal is Australia's largest independent coal producer and the leading coal producer in Northwest New South Wales.

About the role:

Are you a motivated individual seeking to start your career in Mining? WorkPac are currently recruiting new to industry operators at an Open Cut coal mine site near Boggabri. Previous operating experience in civil, quarry or farming required.

Please note these are Residential based positions and no camp is offered - must live <1 hour from the mine site

What you will need:

• Previous experience operating mobile plant in a farming, civil, quarry or construction environment (Tractors, Loaders, Dozers, Moxys, Excavators etc)
• Drivers Licence and can confidently drive manual (P2 minimum)
• Residential address located within 1hrs drive to Mine site (Boggabri/Gunnedah region)
• Ability to undertake an Order 43 Medical and Drug and Alcohol screening.
• CMI check (or willing to obtain)

What you will be doing:

• Learn how to safely operate Dump Trucks in a coal mining environment
• Working both Day and Night shifts on a Monday - Friday roster
• Meeting KPIs within the coal production environment

Benefits:

• Hourly rate of $37.18per hour base rate + penalties
• Additional night shift allowance of $5.58 per hour
• 10.5 hour shifts
• Monday - Friday roster
• Superannuation paid on all rostered hours
• Additional hourly allowances accrued after your first 3 months:

Allowance 1: $5 per hour paid weekly

Allowance 2: $5 per hour paid quarterly
