Operations Readiness Specialist / Engineer

About the Company

Ramelius is a successful Australian gold producer with a clear vision to become a 500,000oz producer by FY30.

Our growth pipeline includes a major processing plant upgrade at Mt Magnet and the greenfields Rebecca-Roe Project, including a new mine, processing plant, accommodation village, aerodrome and supporting infrastructure.

This is an opportunity to join a growing major projects team, work directly within the owner’s organisation and contribute to projects of genuine scale and complexity.

About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work across project delivery, commissioning, maintenance, operations and technical teams to support the successful transition of new and upgraded assets into sustainable operations.

You will play a key role in ensuring the systems, maintenance strategies, documentation, spare parts and operational requirements needed for successful start-up and handover are in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate operational readiness plans and activities
• Support commissioning, handover and transition into operations
• Ensure maintenance and asset management requirements are ready for handover
• Coordinate critical spares, inventory and warehouse readiness
• Ensure asset data and technical documentation are transferred into operational systems
• Coordinate operating procedures, maintenance procedures and training materials
• Track readiness milestones, risks and actions across key workstreams

About You / Requirements

• Experience in commissioning, operational readiness or asset handover
• Strong understanding of maintenance, asset management and operational requirements
• Experience working across projects, commissioning, maintenance and operations
• Exposure to processing plant, fixed plant or infrastructure projects, ideally within the gold sector
• A strong commitment to safe and controlled transition into operations
