Mount Owen Glendell Operations (MGO) Mine located in the Upper Hunter Valley of New South Wales, 20 kilometres North of Singleton, contains the Mt Owen and Glendell open cut mines. The integration of these operations enables all sites to use a single coal handling and preparation plant (CHPP) and infrastructure at Mt Owen Mine.

About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate Operational Technology Technician to join our team. As part of our broader Maintenance Engineering department, you will safely and effectively maintain a range of Operational Technology (OT) to a high standard, meeting required targets.
As an OT Technician you will be working on modern mining equipment and technologies with a focus on achieving availability and reliability targets to drive maintenance performance and safety standards across site.

- Work on modern mining equipment and technologies with a focus on achieving availability and reliability targets to drive maintenance performance and safety standards across site
About You / Requirements
- Electrical, Auto-Electrical, Electronic, Communications or equivalent qualification
- Open Cut Coal Mining or Heavy Industry experience
- Open Cablers Licence or equivalent (desirable)
- Experience with above Operational Technologies (desirable)
- Prioritise working safely and following MGO policies and procedures
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated exposure to computerised maintenance management systems and knowledge of SAP (desirable)
Operational Technologies
MGO’s Operational Technologies include but aren’t limited to the following. It is desirable that you have experience with these technologies:
- Rajant Kinetic Mesh Wireless Network
- Hexagon Fleet Management System
- Guardvant Operator Awareness System
- CAT Minestar and Asset Health Systems
- Wabtec Collision Awareness System
- TETRA DAMM Two Way Radio Network
- Cisco, HP, Moxa, Ubiquiti, and Cambium Networking Devices
- Windows and Linux based Operating Systems
