About the Company
Our client is a global Australian open pit hard rock producer with a large flagship operation in northwest WA. Due to internal promotions, they are now looking for an experienced and motivated Production Engineer to join their high-performing team.
About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to join a company that offers excellent career progression. You will be responsible for:
- The short-term mine schedule, production plans and reporting.
- Producing open pit mine designs, including waste dumps, haul roads and ROM stockpiles.
- Developing the daily and two-weekly mine plans and schedules.
- Generating daily reports.
About You
You are a growth-focused, driven professional with a proven ability to think on your feet in an ever-changing environment. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to make it their own and grow with a business that has substantial expansion plans in place.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven open pit hard rock experience.
- Completed the work experience required to obtain a WA Quarry Managers Certificate of Competency.
- Experience using Alastri.
