Protech is seeking experienced Mining Operators to join our client at Mount Carlton Mine, located 136km SE from Townsville.

About the Role
These are permanent, full‑time positions from commencement, offering excellent conditions and long‑term security at a mine with a strong future.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE (Experienced):

• Haul Truck operators – $53 p/h
• All Rounder –$58.00 p/h
• Excavator operators –$68 p/h

Key Responsibilities

• Safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile plant equipment
• Working collaboratively within the production team and wider site
• Maintaining high safety, quality and productivity standards
• Compliance with all site systems, procedures and safety requirements

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2 years mining experience preferred
• Hard rock mining experience encouraged to apply
• Current QLD Driver Licence
• Training Transcript signed by SSE or SSE Delegate
• Current VOC for relevant machinery
• Ability to:
  • Provide a current health assessment
  • Pass pre‑employment medical and D&A testing
• Proof of Australian working rights
• Current National Police Check
• Two recent, contactable references
