About the Role

Permanent FIFO role from Perth, 8/6 roster with 6% site allowance Competitive salary + quarterly bonus + private health allowance Tertiary qualification in Surveying, Grade One preferred

The Opportunity:
You’ll work closely with a diverse team; you will provide a comprehensive survey control service to contribute to the achievement of production and development targets across Granny Smith underground operation.

What You’ll Do

  • Strengthen the mine’s ability to achieve mining production and development targets through accurate, timely, and reliable survey services.
  • Support mining operations by improving service delivery and team effectiveness, providing assistance across related areas as required.
  • Meet company and statutory surveying compliance requirements through the regular capture of physicals and the preparation of high-quality reports.
  • Minimise disruption to mining activities by delivering accurate survey outputs, maintaining survey equipment to required standards, and monitoring team performance through inspections and audits.

What You’ll Bring

  • Possess a formal qualification in Surveying (Degree or Diploma) and a manual driver’s license
  • Have or be working towards an Authorised Mine Surveyors Certificate Grade 1 or 2 (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in mine surveying, both underground and open pit
  • Exposure in mine surveying applications such as Deswik & survey instrumentation such as Leica & Trimble
  • A growth mindset, with strong communication, responsibility, and relationship-building skills
