We are Aeris Resources, ASX-listed base and precious metals producer with a copper-dominant portfolio and multiple mines and development projects. This role is based at Cracow Gold Operations in central Queensland.

About the Role

We’re seeking a Mining Engineer to join the Cracow team. The Mining Engineer will own production, drill and blast and short-term scheduling, reporting to the Mine Engineering Superintendent. You will work closely with operational and technical teams to ensure the necessary plans and direction are provided to support safe and efficient operations, and you’ll identify improvement opportunities. This is a small, close-knit team where you can work with autonomy while benefiting from the support of experienced senior engineers. At Cracow, ideas and improvements are heard, trialled and implemented.

What you Bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
• Australian driver’s licence
• 1 to 5+ years in mining operations, planning and/or production roles
• Planning and drill and blast experience in an underground hard rock metalliferous environment
• Experience using Deswik and Ventsim software
• Strong communication and organising skills
• The ability to work autonomously, whilst being a strong team player within the Technical Services department
