About the Role
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a full time Blasting Miner to join the Underground Mine Development team. The Development Blasting Miner will also demonstrate a strong commitment to the safe handling and use of explosives in the mining development environment and a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in similar role in an underground environment.
In this role, you will:
- Support safe and efficient mine development activities throughout the mine.
- Explosives charging of development headings.
- Installation/retrieval of Blast PED units.
- Relieve in other positions as required.
About You
The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead positive change and support continued improvement. You will have an absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards, mine working procedures and ensure a safe environmentally healthy workplace.

- Be self-motivated and able to effectively plan and oraganise required work
- Willing to learn and contribute to promoting a supportive and positive team culture
- A valid driver's license with the ability to safely drive a manual vehicle
- A valid blasters license or the ability to obtain a blasters license
- Min 3 years underground mining experience is essentail, including general mine services, explosives handling and use, as well as general mine development
