About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, you will provide accurate and timely survey support across our Murchison Open Pit operations, ensuring safe mine development and operational efficiency.
You will play a key role in maintaining survey control, supporting design implementation, and delivering reliable data to guide mining activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain survey control networks and site databases
- Conduct surveys to support pit design, development, and mining operations
- Ensure accurate mine model updates and reporting
- Monitor and verify implementation of designs in the field
- Provide survey input to support safe and efficient resource extraction
- Support end-of-month reporting and survey calculations
- Work closely with operations and contractors to deliver outcomes
About You
You are a motivated survey professional with strong technical capability and a hands-on approach to site operations.
You will bring:
- Experience within an open pit or mining environment
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Strong communication skills with site-based stakeholders
Qualifications & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Surveying
- Exposure to open pit mining operations (preferred)
- Current WA C-Class Driver’s Licence
- Experience with survey equipment and systems (advantageous)
