Protech is seeking skilled Truck, Multi-Skilled and Excavator Operators to join our growing workforce at Middlemount Coal.

Located in Queensland’s Bowen Basin, approximately 90km north-east of Emerald and just 7km from the township of Middlemount, Middlemount Coal is a well-established open cut mining operation. Owned through a joint venture between Peabody Energy and Yancoal, the site offers excellent long-term career opportunities with a projected mine life exceeding 20 years.

Working under the direction of the Production Superintendent, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and productive mining operations. Your responsibilities will include operating heavy mobile equipment efficiently, adhering to site safety standards, and contributing positively to a high-performing team environment. What You’ll Bring

• 12+ months’ experience on production mining equipment (Rear Dump Truck, Dozer, Grader, or Excavator)
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Skills list signed by SSE or front cover assessments
• Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
• HA – Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol screening
