Job Description

Hays are partnering with a large Mining client who are looking to add several Mechanical Maintainers within their Fixed Plant department. This job role offers a long-term temporary working opportunity of a minimum of 6 months. This role offers a family friendly FIFO roster of 8:6 days and 7:7 nights. If you have Fixed Plant experience in a similar role to a Mechanical Maintainer, then it would be great to hear from you.

Experience required :

  • Performing regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently in a Mechanical Maintainer role.
  • Diagnose breakdowns and repair them in a speedy manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections to help prevent major breakdowns.
  • Have experience working on Chutes, Screens, Crushers and Conveyors.

Relevant Tickets/Certificates:

  • Fork Lift Truck licence (Desirable)
  • Dogging Ticket (Desirable)
  • Rigging Ticket (Desirable)
  • Any Mechanical Certificates (Desirable)
