The Role

The successful person will be responsible for undertaking planned & reactive breakdown maintenance work in our process plant. You will have experience working on a wide variety of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, fixed plant piping, valves and be familiar with laser alignment procedures.

Previous experienced with sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks & related agitators, and various pumps. Experience with HPAL Autoclaves is will also be an advantage for our Ore Leach Area.

About You

This role would suit a driven Mechanical Fitter with previous experience working in a similar hydrometallurgical process plant who is looking for job security and career opportunities. You will also have:

• Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
• A current and valid manual Australian Driver’s licence
• Proven experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
• Proven experience working with all types of fixed plant piping, valves, and laser alignment
• Ideally have experienced sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks & related agitators, and various pumps. Experience with HPAL Autoclaves is highly desirable for this role.
• Previous Autoclave experience (desirable)
• Experience working with area permit systems; safe work instructions and hazard identification
• Strong communication skills & excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities.
