LV Fitter Underground - 8/6 / 2/2

About the Role

The LV Fitter Underground role involves breakdowns of Light Vehicles (LV) and ancillary vehicles, electrical work, primarily on underground LV equipment, with surface workshop based duties and underground call outs.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialising in breakdowns of Light Vehicles, Ancillary vehicles and electrical work.
• This position is primarily on underground LV equipment, surface workshop based with call outs underground.
• Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile fleet and other equipment in accordance with Mine site servicing, lubrication and maintenance systems documentation.
• Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer based systems.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
• Provide technical information to staff and operations personnel.
• Conduct technical inspections and job estimations
• Basic electrical knowledge needed
• Vehicle conversions are a bonus

About You / Requirements

• LV Cert III
• HD Cert III
• Driving License
• Temp to Perm Options
• Other positions also looking for: HD Fitter, Underground service person.
