Mechanical Fitter – WA | Ongoing Casual Role
We are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for ongoing casual work across Western Australia, supporting critical railway operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure long-term, consistent work with Tier 1 contractors on essential infrastructure projects.
About the Role:
- Ongoing casual position – no end date
- Supporting railway and transport operations across all of WA
- Working with leading Tier 1 contractors
- Dynamic, safety-focused work environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical components
- Fault finding and troubleshooting on heavy machinery
- Ensuring equipment reliability across railway operations
- Adhering to strict safety and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent)
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Construction White Card (essential)
- Working at Heights (preferred)
- Confined Space Entry (preferred)
- High Risk Work Licence (EWP, Dogging or Rigging – advantageous)
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- National Police Clearance Check
