We are looking for Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitters to join our team working on our recently constructed Lucky Bay mine site. The mine has a 30 year + mine life and is located within a thirty minute drive from Kalbarri township.

About the Role:

This position will maintain mechanical equipment on site and will be working a;

• 2:1 (7 days on/ 7 nights on) FIFO from Perth (Staying in Kalbarri camp accommodation) OR
• 2:1 (7 days on/ 7 nights on) BIBO/ DIDO from Geraldton (Staying in Kalbarri camp accommodation) OR
• 8:6/7:7 (Days then nights) BIBO/ DIDO from Kalbarri.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Maintain assigned equipment, and perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with operational and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot during engine / mechanical breakdown and organize a remedy;
• Conduct work in a safe manner, using the Take-5's job hazard analysis (JHA's) to meet safety standards.
• Carry out Servicing, Maintenance and Repairs to Company equipment in accordance with Planned Maintenance Processes.
• Maintain all required logbooks and inspection reports as per company procedure.
• Report all Faults and Defects to maintenance personnel, offering potential solutions.

To be successful in this role you must be able to demonstrate:

• Trade Mechanical Fitter qualification.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Workshop and/or Field Services.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attitude in getting the job done safely and within the required time frames.
• The ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• Drivers Licence - Manual
• Australian Citizenship or rights to work in Australia
