About the Role

We're on the lookout for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our growing maintenance team. These site-based permanent opportunities will be offered on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth staying in our modern Dragonfly Village with excellent rooms and amenities, just minutes from site.

Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

• Perform repairs and maintenance to the fixed plant and site infrastructure.
• Provide high level diagnostics and fault finding on fixed plant and infrastructure equipment.
• Liaise closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and/ or Maintenance Superintendent and assist in work planning and scheduling to ensure the required equipment, tools and spare parts are available and maintained.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, workspace organisation and waste minimisation.
• Minimise company risk exposure and liabilities by performing maintenance activities to a high standard.
• Demonstrate personal safety commitment and actively support a culture of safety awareness and commitment.
• Assist in the development and continual improvement of maintenance crews.
• Other duties as per operational requirements or directives from manager.

About the Department

Our lithium and tantalum processing facility design, the world’s largest of its kind, incorporates a wide range of different processing technologies. The process equipment has been selected from the most modern designs available in the market. Our plant is designed for maintainability and operability from the start.

About You

• Mechanical trade certified.
• Minimum 5 years experience in relevant fixed plant maintenance – crushers, mills, apron feeders, conveyors, screens, flotation and filtration systems, pumps, agitators and magnetic separation.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Excellent attitude and commitment to safety.
• Demonstrate initiative and strong work habits.
• Have obtained a National Police Clearance within the last 6 months or have the ability to obtain one.
• Able to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
