About the Company
Our client is a premier equipment rental provider specialising in the offshore and onshore energy industries. They supply a comprehensive fleet of high-quality equipment—including industrial boilers, generators, sand filtration systems, steam heat exchangers, coflexip hoses etc to major facilities across the region.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Fitter to join their workshop team for an approx. 3-week assignment, commencing next week (30/09)
This hands-on role will see you assisting with a variety of workshop and mechanical tasks to prep and maintain rental fleet equipment.
Your duties will include:
- Performing general maintenance and servicing duties on specialised equipment.
- Assisting with service work specifically on air compressors.
- Pulling apart equipment, blowing out, and cleaning mechanical components.
- Conducting power washing and general workshop upkeep.
- Utilizing a forklift for safe equipment movements.
Hours and Pay:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Great early finish!)
- Pay Rate: $60.00 per hour (Flat Rate) + Superannuation
- Duration: Approximately 3 weeks
What You'll Need
- Trade qualified LV, HD or fixed plant Fitter (No RPL necessary)
- High mechanical aptitude and confidence working with heavy equipment
- Current Forklift Licence (highly desirable)
- Immediate availability to commence next week and commit to the full 3-week duration
- Physical fitness and the ability to successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screen
