About the Company
Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a well-established engineering and automation specialist to recruit experienced Mechanical Commissioning Technicians for multiple FIFO projects across Western Australia. With a strong pipeline of work across major mining and industrial sites, these roles offer excellent hourly rates, paid travel, varied rosters and project durations of up to 6 months.

Our client is a well-established Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.
What will this position involve?
As part of the commissioning team, you'll play a key role in safely delivering mechanical commissioning activities from construction verification through to final handover.
Your duties will include:
- Completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
- Construction verification, no-load and load commissioning
- Conducting function testing on motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors and associated fixed plant equipment
- Identifying faults and supporting troubleshooting activities
- Updating commissioning mark-ups and redline drawings
What do you need to be successful?
To be successful, you will have:
- Current LVR/CPR
- WA White Card
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Minimum 12 months' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
