Mechanical Commissioning Supervisor

Pearl Recruitment is partnering with a well-established engineering and automation specialist to recruit experienced Mechanical Commissioning Supervisors for multiple FIFO projects across Western Australia. With a strong pipeline of work across major mining and industrial sites, these roles offer excellent hourly rates, paid travel, varied rosters and project durations of up to 6 months.

Our Client Our client is a well-established Australian engineering and automation contractor delivering electrical, instrumentation, mechanical and commissioning services across the mining, minerals processing and heavy industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of work across Western Australia, they continue to grow their commissioning teams and deliver high-quality outcomes on major resource projects.

What will this position involve?

As part of the commissioning team, you'll be responsible for leading mechanical commissioning activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standard.

Your duties will include:

• Leading Mechanical Commissioning teams across site
• Coordinating commissioning activities and schedules
• Reviewing and completing commissioning documentation and ITRs
• Conducting inspections and resolving technical issues
• Reviewing and approving JHAs
• Liaising with construction teams, vendors and client representatives

What do you need to be successful?

To be successful, you will have:

• Current LVR/CPR
• Schedule 26
• WA White Card
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
• Minimum 3 years' commissioning experience within mining, oil & gas or heavy industrial environments
• Minimum 12 months' supervisory experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
