Materials Coordinator

About the Role

UGL are currently seeking an experienced Materials & Preservation Coordinator to join our team. Commencing ASAP you will be working an ongoing 2:2 roster.

You will need to have demonstrated significant experience working in a similar role, within an Oil & Gas, Brownfield environment.

Point of hire, Perth WA.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact on-site for preservation and materials management activities, working closely with the Company's designated Site Preservation Representative.
• Coordinate, schedule, and monitor daily preservation and materials handling activities to ensure project requirements are met.
• Identify preservation-related issues and escalate concerns as required, assisting in the implementation of corrective actions to address non-conformances or adverse preservation trends.
• Support the implementation of storage, preservation, and preventative maintenance activities in accordance with project procedures and requirements.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of preservation status, activities, and materials management data within Company and Contractor systems, including the collection and submission of supporting documentation.
• Ensure preservation and materials personnel participate in required project training and maintain compliance with site procedures.
• Monitor Vendor and subcontractor compliance with established storage, preservation, and preventative maintenance requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate materials receipt, storage, handling, inventory control, and preservation activities to ensure equipment and materials remain fit for purpose.

About you

• Strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively coordinate and manage preservation resources and activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with Company representatives and manage Vendor relationships.
• Detailed knowledge of storage, preservation, and preventative maintenance standards and best practices.
• Ability to identify and resolve preservation issues proactively.
• Familiarity with logging systems and creating accurate documentation for preservation activities.
• Commitment to maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
