Maintenance Supervisor

This position is responsible for supervising and leading a team of multi skilled equipment maintenance personnel in a safe and cost-effective achievement for the length of the project.

To be considered for this position as a Maintenance Supervisor you must possess the following as a minimum:

• Australian Manual Drivers Licence
• Australian recognised Trade Certificate
• WHS Statutory Supervisor Examination (S26)
• Extensive experience in a senior capacity within the Civil or Mining FIFO sectors
• Familiarity of Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi earthmoving equipment
• Strong financial understanding and acumen
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Liaise with management on contract progress
• Ensure work plans are followed and executed safely
• Enforce client isolation procedures and site compliance
• Conduct daily inspections and action any hazards
• Prepare and review JHAs and safe work procedures
• Lead daily prestart covering safety, progress & risks
• Communicate hazards and updates to all personnel
• Ensure compliance with safety plans, policies & legislation
• Manage hazard reporting and implement controls
• Promote and achieve site safety targets
• Complete additional duties within your competency
